Artificial Grass Installation in Canterbury , Kent

This is one of the most common things people ask our artificial grass fitters in Kent. The answer is a definite yes. It is actually a brilliant choice for pet owners. The material is tough enough to handle digging and won't discolour from pet waste. You can easily wash it down with a hose, and because there is no mud, your house stays a lot cleaner too. We make sure the base is prepared correctly so that smells do not linger and the surface remains soft for children to play on.

We use top-tier materials that won't fade in the sun, so it stays a vibrant green for a very long time. It is a solid investment that adds value to your property while saving you a fortune on lawn treatments, water bills, and petrol for the mower.

While you can throw away your lawnmower, your new grass still needs a tiny bit of attention to keep it looking its best. All you really need to do is brush it occasionally with a stiff broom to keep the fibres standing up and clear off any fallen leaves or debris. This stops organic matter from breaking down into the pile. It is a massive time-saver compared to the endless cycle of feeding, weeding, and cutting real grass.

You might worry that a synthetic surface will lead to puddles, but it is actually designed to be better than real soil in many cases. The turf we use is perforated with small holes, and we lay it on a specialist sub-base of crushed stone and grit. This means rainwater flows straight through into the ground. Even after a heavy Kentish downpour, your lawn will be dry and ready to use much faster than a traditional garden.

In many cases, yes, we can. As long as the existing surface is stable and drains well, we can often lay a shock-absorbent layer and then the grass on top. This is a popular way to soften up a hard, grey courtyard or a balcony and turn it into a green space you will actually want to spend time in. Our team will check the levels during your site visit to make sure everything will sit perfectly and look natural.
