Expert Turfing & Lawn Laying Services
Across Canterbury
Trusted landscaping specialists.

We source high-quality, weed-free turf grown specifically for domestic gardens. It is hard-wearing enough for kids and pets but still looks lush and green. We make sure it is freshly cut before delivery, so it takes root quickly once our team lays it.

Every garden is unique, so we price each project individually. The size of the area, the amount of ground preparation needed, and the type of grass you choose all play a part in the final cost. We provide a free site visit to give you a clear, fixed price without any surprises later on.

It mostly depends on how much time you want to spend on maintenance. If you love the smell of a cut lawn and do not mind the mowing, natural turf is a classic choice. If you want a green garden all year round without any work, our high-quality artificial grass is a brilliant alternative. We can show you samples of both during our visit to help you decide.

You can lay turf almost any time of year as long as the ground is not frozen or waterlogged. Spring and autumn are usually the best times because the soil is warm and there is usually enough rain to help the roots settle. If we install your lawn in the heat of summer, you just need to be regular with the watering.

Good ground prep is the secret to a lawn that stays level and healthy. We start by removing any old grass or weeds, then we turn the soil over to loosen it up. After that, we level the area and add a layer of nutrient-rich topsoil if the garden needs it. This gives the fresh turf the best possible start.

For the first few weeks, the main job is watering. You need to keep the turf moist so the roots grow down into the soil properly. Try to avoid walking on the grass for at least two weeks to let it settle. Once it is firmly rooted, you can treat it like any other lawn with regular mowing and feeding.

Yes, we often handle full garden makeovers. Many of our customers in Canterbury ask us to lay a new patio or path alongside their lawn installation. This creates a balanced look and makes the space much more practical for dining or entertaining. We can talk about how to blend different materials to suit your property's style.
